Terms of Service
Elite Places. Effective October 17, 2026.
By using the Elite Places app you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Who provides the service
Elite Places is provided by Zdeněk Čulík, an individual developer based in the Czech Republic, reachable at support@eliteplaces.app.
The service
Elite Places shows highly rated places around a point you choose. It is provided as it is, with no guarantee of availability. Features can change or be removed, and the service can be discontinued.
Place content is not ours
Names, ratings, review counts, opening hours, photos and place details come from third-party place data providers and from public web pages. That content belongs to those providers and their contributors and remains subject to their rights and terms. Ratings and opening hours can be out of date or wrong, so check before you travel.
Your account
You can sign in with Apple, Google or email and password. Signing in alone does not grant access: invitation membership is required. You are responsible for your account. We can suspend an account that is used to abuse the service, for example to game the leaderboard, to farm invitations or to post abusive content.
Free invitation membership
Elite Places is free for invited members, with no time limit. An invitation is required to use the app. There is no trial countdown, subscription, in-app purchase or payment required in this version. Invitation codes are free and must not be sold or traded.
Members can share three invitations per calendar month. Each code admits one account and is valid for 21 days while unused. Once accepted, membership does not expire when the code expires. Deleting your account removes membership; a new account needs a new invitation. Accounts that abuse the service may still be suspended.
Available cities
Full access applies to the prepared cities listed in the app, not to every location in the world. A city request is a suggestion, not a purchase or a promise to add that city. Browsing stored places does not purchase new data.
Historical purchases
This version offers no purchases. Existing Apple purchase records are retained only for verification, refunds and applicable recordkeeping. For an existing Apple subscription, cancellation remains available in Apple Account settings. Account deletion does not cancel an existing Apple subscription.
Community rules
- We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. That covers everything other people can see: your display name, your profile picture and anything else shown to other users, for example on the leaderboard.
- No hate speech, harassment, threats, sexual or violent content, impersonation, spam, advertising, or content that is illegal where you are.
- Report objectionable content to the support contact below. Include the place name and identify the content you are reporting. Earlier versions and other service surfaces offered user reporting. Content that breaks these rules can be removed and abusive accounts suspended.
Blocking other users
Earlier versions and other service surfaces offered blocking on the People leaderboard without notifying the blocked user. The current native app has no People leaderboard or user-blocking control. Contact support about abusive content.
Fair use
Do not scrape the app or its API, do not attempt to circumvent limits, and do not use automated tools to generate traffic. The data behind the app is paid for per request.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The app is provided without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss or damage that follows from using it or from relying on the place information it shows, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be limited by agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in, and you can bring a case before the courts there.
Apple's terms
Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Changes
These terms can change. The effective date above changes with them, and continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
